During the Period of September 12 - 30, 2011, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Con-
servation Commission will be conducting aquatic weed control operations in Lake Rous-


seau using EPA approved herbicides. Water hyacinth, water lettuce and boat trails will be


maintained using the herbicides, Reward or Glyphosate.


People using these areas of Lake Rousseau for domestic purposes or for irriga-


tion are cautioned that treated water should not be used for a period of five days in Reward




treated areas. No Livestock/ Domestic Animal watering for 1 day in Reward treated areas.


Water shall not be used for drinking (does not apply to tap or well water) for 1 day in Reward
treated areas.
