Matthew Parks, 19, 7139 N. Nature Trail, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus

County Sheriff's Office, Sept. 17, charged with battery - intentionally caausing bodily harm.
His bond was set at $1,000. He's accused of punching the victim in the face and choking the

victim to the point that his airway was constricted. The incident occurred in Beverly Hills.
The report stated that the victim had numerous scratches to his face and neck, a bloody nose,

facial swelling and dried blood on his shirt and jeans. The victim told deputies that Parks

confronted him at the Kangaroo gas station regarding a girl. Two witnesses saw part of the
confrontation, but not the injuries being inflicted. However, Parks volunteered that law en-

forcement was there because he beat the victim, according to the arrest affidavit.
Timothy Michael Pearson, 29, Homosassa, was arrested by the Citrus County
