"False Alarm" at Inglis Budget Meeting

At a special budget workshop Monday it appeared that Inglis might be losing two

more commissioners to resignation. Newly appointed commissioner Robert Goode walked
out of the meeting over concern for the way citizen input on budget talks was being handled.

A half hour later commissioner Sally Price walked out saying she was against the $100 a

month raise in the budget for commissioners. With both commissioners gone the meeting
became disfunctional with only two commissioners at the meeting. Commissioner Ann Mo-

rin's recent resignation leaves the town with only four of five commissiioners.
Goode was called by phone and returned to the meeting. With a quorum established
once again the meeting continued. Tuesday morning commissioner Price clarified her pos-

tion in an email to Mayor Kirkland stating she was not resigning and apologized for letting
