responded to a residence in Beverly Hills due to a domestic disturbance. When deputies
arrived, they heard gunshots, and when they entered the home, they found three people
inside. As a result of gunfire in the home, Frank M. Valenza, 61, of Beverly Hills was found
deceased, and two others, Janice Ames Genco, 60, and her dependent son, Michael John
Genco, 28, also of Beverly Hills, were injured and airlifted to Shand’s Hospital in Gaines-
ville.
According to the sheriff s office, an ongoing domestic dispute apparently led to
the shooting of Ms Genco and her son. Galenzo was in the process of moving out of the
residence due to continued arguments with Genco over her son. He shot the pair and then
turned the gun on himself. As of Monday afternoon, the victims remain at Shand’s Hospital
in Gainesville, and both are expected to recover. Their conditions were not released.
