hyper-ventilating for a few seconds as I was taken quite by surprise. As the SUV passed I
glanced and saw an attractive lady wave at me with that little wave women do. It's like toodle-
do! See you!
After my heart returned to my chest cavity after dropping into my rear-end for about 10
seconds I realized the pretty lady who just cut me off in traffic was my wife. We live only a
couple of miles from the light. When she pulled into our driveway I was right behind her.
"What do you mean racing in front of me like that", I asked. "You scared me half to death".
"You were holding up traffic. Besides I saw it was you and just wanted to pull into the
driveway first so you wouldn't have to park on the side of the house", she answered.
After that incident I have mellowed regarding the merging traffic at that light. If anyone
looks like they want to get by I slow down and let them pass unless, of course, they are driving
a white SUV.
About twenty people were alerted to the the sound of a loud crash Wednesday(Aug.29)

there was no braking sound at all before the crash. The driver a young male, driving for
American Pro Diving Center, Crystal River, hit the back end of a parked truck with his
F150. Talk at the scene was that the young driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel
just before the crash. No one, including the driver, was seriously injured. Witnesses said
