The deputy apprehended the man and woman. The man was identified as Matthew

As Little was a suspect in another case, he was placed under arrest. Thomas and
Vanduzer, who had been standing at the rear of the patrol vehicle where the woman’s wallet

and knife were found, both insisted they did not know where these items had come from.
Little told detectives he had nothing to do with the burglary, but that Thomas and

Vanduzer had taken the wallet and had made contact with him behind the shopping plaza.
The detective noted that Little was in possession of two different brands of cigarettes, one
brand being the brand the woman had reported as missing from her purse.
Thomas and Vanduzer were placed under arrest, each charged with one count of

burglary of an unoccupied conveyance. Their bonds were set at $2,000 each. Vanduzer had
a check on his person made payable to him from the account of a woman in the amount of
$200, but denied any knowledge of the check, as did Thomas.
