nents. “He realized his perspective was changing,” she said. The third night, he saw earth as
whole; nations had no boundaries; no borders separated them. “He said, ‘people kill with
machetes, and sometimes words, but we’re all a family.’ This was carved on my heart,” she
said, to the spellbound crowd. “I encourage people to help others and to treat others as they
would want to be treated,” she said. “Thank you for setting an example,” she said to Toto,
“and for letting me be a part of it.”
Toto announced that that Tom Chancey is the “upcoming director” of the Com-
munity Food Bank of Citrus County and thanked the more than 160 “selfless volunteers.”
She cut the ribbon to the building and invited everyone to enjoy refreshments and tour the
facility.

George D. Black, 33, Homosassa, was issued a criminal citation by the Inglis Po-
lice Department, July 22, when a traffic stop was made on the vehicle he was driving at
Hwy. 40 E. at Lori St., Inglis. He was stopped due to a seatbelt violation. He told the officer
that his driver’s license had been suspended for failing to pay child support (it had been re-
voked, according to the report). The criminal citation was issued when Black explained that
he had a serious medical problem and requested that he be allowed to appear in court rather
than go to jail. The officer issued a civil citation for the seatbelt violation.
Rhonda Gale Hale, 37, 10930 SE 201 St. Lot 26, Inglis, was arrested by the Levy
County Sheriff’s Office, July 23, charged with battery (touch or strike). Her bond was set at
$500.
Wesley Earle Keech, 32, 7361 W. Riverbend Rd., Dunnellon, was arrested by the
Inglis Police Department, July 27, on an out of county warrant, according to the Levy Coun-
ty Jail inmate report.
