Shine Volunteer Monthly Assistance
SHINE Volunteers will be at Knots Yankeetown Library again on Wed. 7/9, to help
people with their medicare/medicaid concerns, 10 AM - 12 noon, or later (depending on how
many people show up). No appointment is necessary. We also try to get low-income seniors
assistance paying for Medicare Part D (prescriptions).
Applications being taken for Yankeetown Seafood Festival
The Inglis-Yankeetown Lions Club is now accepting applications for arts, crafts
and food vendors to serve at their 27th-annual Arts, Crafts & Seafood Festival that will be
held the weekend of Nov. 22-23 on Riverside Drive in historic Yankeetown. The show will be
judged, arts and crafts in one category, with prize money and ribbons awarded to the top four
