More Counterfeit Bills Show Up
Squawk Box

Since July 9, Citrus County deputies have responded to eight more reports of businesses
and harder to survive. This is my belief for the reason of all the foreclosures and for sale
in Beverly Hills, Crystal River and Homosassa receiving counterfeit bills. One Crystal

if not, perhaps gain insight into the gender and age of the person.
Beyond that, detectives are expecting to seek out the services of a forensic anthropologist
to help them possibly identify the remains. It’s unknown at this time if any foul play was
involved in the person’s death
Crime scene technicians with the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office were back at the
wooded area east of S. Suncoast Blvd. where a human skull was discovered last week. They
continued to widen their search of the vicinity to see if any other human remains were evi-
dent.
About 50 yards from the tree debris where the skull was found, CSTs discovered
additional human bones. Their search is continuing, and these bones will be relinquished to
the medical examiner’s office in Leesburg for further evaluation.
It seems likely that the bones are related to the skull that was found earlier, and
simply constitute additional skeletal remains.
Fort Island Gulf Beach reopened for swimming
The Fort Island Gulf Beach swimming advisory warning has been lifted, and the
beach is now open for swimming.
The Florida Healthy Beaches Program, a Florida Department of Health run pro-
gram, issued water testing results for July 15 that indicated water quality levels were good
for swimming at that time. The program tests the water quality each week for the public’s
safety.
