You'll lose the blues in
Chicago, Chicago part 2 of 3
Our Sunday in Chicago
started early. We arose at 5:30
AM (Kathie is not a morning
person so I had to endure some
harsh words for waking her that
early), and after a light break-
fast at the hotel we were shuttled to the mar-
keting show we were there to attend. We spent
about 3 hours at the show and I ordered
Christmas merchandise and also everyday
items that will be delivered in a few days. We
could have easily spent all day at the show.
The temptation is to buy more than you can
afford.
We hurried back to the hotel, via the
courtesy shuttle around 11 AM and asked
the hotel personnel if they would call a cab to
take us to Wrigley Field. They insisted that
we should take the El, Chicago's famous pub-
lic transportation. "We are country folks", I
told them. "We don't want to get lost in this
big city". The young lady behind the desk
laughed and said we wouldn't get lost. She
gave us a map and told us where to get off the
"Blue Line" train and catch a "Red Line" train
to Wrigley. "We will drive you to the Rosemont
transit station and when you return to
Rosemont, give us a call and we will come get
you. Cab fare would eat you alive", she
