Floral City Trailhead Parking Lot Construction Begins
The Citrus County BOCC has continued to add to the amenities for the Withla-
coochee State Bicycle Trail. Citrus County Public Works has completed design and has
commenced construction on the Floral City Trailhead Parking Lot project. This project con-
sists of creating 17 spaces of vehicle parking for the Withlacoochee State Trail next to the
existing trailhead and restroom facility, with drainage and roadway improvements.
The project construction cost is estimated at $62,000 and is funded by Park impact
fees and Gas Tax. Estimated completion is the end of August, 2016. For more information

County Division Seeking Volunteers
Citrus County Code Compliance Division is currently seeking volunteers in the
records management capacity for file inventory, prepping documents and scan supervised
work. Code Compliance Division is responsible for ensuring that people comply with Coun-
ty Ordinances and the Land Development Code. The primary goal for this section is "com-
