Interview With A
Self-Professed Drug Addict
By Newscaster Staff
This week,  the Squawk Box
will present a sad-but-true story about our
legal system and drugs, while local resi-
dents are still buzzing about a multi-agen-
cy drug bust in Inglis at 21 Cypress Ln.,
May 3rd, that resulted in numerous arrests
(see “Twelve arrested in Inglis meth house
raid,” also on page one).
We’ve heard negative comments
about the local police department allowing
drug activity to continue in the town, but
on March 13, two police officers - who
were attempting to serve a warrant on a
person who does not live at the residence
- stumbled upon suspicious activity that
aroused their suspicion enough that they
searched the property and found evidence
they thought was sufficient to justify the
arrest of the four people present. The four
people were arrested, but did not include
the person they were attempting to serve
with the arrest warrant. The arrest report
stated that one of the people arrested was
an eight-time convicted felon, Vincent L.
