Public Archaeology Network (FPAN) and
the Friends of Crystal River State Parks
are pleased to announce the 2014 summer
camp, Estuary Exploration: A Science
Discovery Camp. Summer camp partici-
pants will apply the sciences of archaeol-
ogy and biology to understand prehistoric
human occupation at the Crystal River
site and the importance of human rela-
tionships with the environment.
The summer camps will introduce 7
to 12 year-olds to a variety of interdisci-
plinary programs to engage and educate
students about archaeology, history, the
estuarine environment, biology, and wild-
life ecology-- all in a fun environment.
Two sessions are offered. The first camp
session will run from June 16ththrough
June 20th. The second camp session will
run from June 23rdthrough June 27th.
