As a business manager I have
tried to never "rock the boat" when deal-
ing with civic leaders in our community.
Our company has contributed more, per
capita, than the national average for busi-
ness donations to our schools, churches
and civic organizations and we are happy
to do so: Even when many of those who
solicit our assistance are often people who
do most of their business elsewhere.
But at some point enough is
enough. That point was reached for me
when a group of local citizens hatched the
brainstorm that what Inglis really needs
is a "marketplace" where folks can come
and sell their homegrown produce, crafts
and assorted wares.
I personally have nothing against some-
