Blue Jeans for a Purpose
Join the Yankeetown-Inglis Woman’s Club and Capital City Bank on Friday, May
28th for a day of food and giving. All bank employees will be wearing JEANS that day.
When you ask them “Why?” they’ll tell you, “If you make a donation to the Education
Fund, Capital City Bank will match your donation dollar for dollar.” The Yankeetown-
Inglis Woman’s Club will award the monies donated in the form of Capital City Bank
Scholarships to deserving students in the community.
So grab your friends and neighbors and come enjoy a hot dog, chips and a soda for
$1.50, meet the employees of the Bank and make your donation to this very worthy cause.
All money from food sales will be given to the fund.
Attorney General to Address Y-I Republican Club
Bill McCollum, Attorney General of the State of Florida and candidate for the of-
fice of Governor of the State of Florida, will be the featured speaker at the Friday, May 28,
meeting of the Yankeetown-Inglis Republican club. This will be a four-county meeting for
Levy, Citrus, Dixie and Gilchrist counties.
The meeting will be held at the Inglis-Yankeetown Lions Club Clubhouse on 59th
Street and Hwy. 40 in Yankeetown. The luncheon meeting will be held at 11:30 a,m, until
1:00 p.m. A light luncheon, which will include dessert and beverage, will be served at a
nominal price of $5 per person. Make checks payable to the club and mail to Y.I.R.C., P.O.
