Hit and run crash from Marion County to Inglis
In a two vehicle traffic crash that occurred at 3:35 pm, May 11, on State Rd. 200
at SW 86 Circle in Marion County, no injuries were reported.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol press release, both vehicles were travel-

ing south on SR-200 in Marion County in the far right lane. Roger Buening, 52, Dunnellon,
was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Avalon (vehicle #2), which was in front of a 2003 GMC Si-
erra (vehicle #1). The Avalon had stopped behind other traffic at the traffic light on SR-200.
According to Mr. Pickett, the driver of the GMC Sierra, he was talking on the phone and
accidentally dropped it onto the floor and took his eyes off the road, causing the GMC to
