Yankeetown Community Church
Yankeetown Community Church presents: The American Heritage Series, with Historian
David Barton, Thursday Evenings at 7:00, beginning April 8th, with an emphasis on our
oral, religious and constitutional heritage. Everyone is welcome, and there is no charge.
Withlacoochee Wilderness Canoe & Kayak Race and Rally
Join in the fun of the Second Annual Withlacoochee Wilderness Canoe & Kayak
Race and Rally, 9:30AM, April 10th. Hosted by Withlacoochee Area Residents, Inc., all
proceeds will help fund the efforts of the organization to protect and preserve Florida’s
Nature Coast and its’ water sources for the benefit of everyone.
Registration fees received before March 26th are $35 canoe - $25 kayak - $35 tan-
dem kayak. Any entries after March 26th will be at the launch site only (8am-9am) and are
- $40 canoe - $30 kayak - $40 tandem kayak. These fees include entry, race hat (guaranteed
only for pre-registration), fruit, water and lunch. For more information call Jack Schofield

Pancake Breakfast Fund Raiser
On Saturday, April 17 from 8AM until NOON, the YANKEETOWN-INGLIS
WOMAN’S CLUB at #5 56th Street, Yankeetown will be having a PANCAKE BREAK-
FAST for $5.00 per person. The menu will consist of all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage,
juice, coffee or tea. Come and enjoy a homemade breakfast from the women in your com-
munity.
