Donations Needed for Yard Sale Items to Feed the Needy
We Care Food Pantry, Homosassa, is asking for donations of unwanted items for a
large yard sale that will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 9 and 10. All donated items
will be placed for sale, and the proceeds will be used to feed the needy in Citrus County. The
food pantry is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization, located at 5530 Mason Creek Rd.,
Homosassa, just off Yulee Dr., across from the Homosassa Elementary School, behind the
fire station. To donate or receive additional information, call the food pantry at (352) 628-
9333 or email them at wecarefood@gmail.com. Arrangements can be made for the pick-up
of large or numerous items.
Friday Flicks - April 15
“Strangers in Good Company” will be shown at 7 PM Friday April 15, at the
Unitarian-Universalist Fellowship. This is a mesmerizing tale of 8 “older” women who
becomes stranded when their bus breaks down in the Wilderness. However, the crisis turns
into a magical time of good humor and spirit. Suggested donation is $3; soda and popcorn

Buttonwood Bonsai Club Meeting for April
Regular Meeting; April 9, 2011,9:30 A.M.,Key Training,130 Heights St.,Inverness,
Fl. Buttonwood Bonsai Club will be hosting Adam Lavingue as demonstrator at the April
meeting. Mr. Lavingue is on the Bonsai Societies of Florida’s list of speakers. He is a spe-
cialist at bonsai deadwood carving, but will be addressing and creating Shohin (miniature
bonsai) at our meeting. Please join us in Inverness. As usual, the meetings are open to the

CCVC’s Membership Drive
The Citrus County Veterans Coalition (CCVC) invites all honorably discharged
veterans, their spouse, widows and widowers along with other veterans’ organizations and
current coalition members to our open business meetings on the fourth Thursday of each
