Semi Annual White Elephant Sale
The Friends of A.F. Knotts Public Library are having their semi-annual white el-
ephant/what-a-bargain book fundraiser beginning Saturday, April 16 from 9 AM to 2 PM
on the library grounds at Eleven 56th Street in Yankeetown.
Our fundraiser will continue in the library on Tuesday April 19, 3 pm - 8
pm and April 20 & 21 Wednesday and Thursday, 9 am - 5 pm. All proceeds benefit the
library. The Yankeetown/Inglis Woman’s Club is also hosting a pancake breakfast at 8 am
right next door on April 16.
Inglis VFW - Two Meetings to Elect Officers, April 20
Inglis VFW Post #8698 held a special meeting on Wed., March 30, at 6:30 p.m.,
for the first nomination of officers for 2011-2012.
The second nomination and the election of officers for 2011-2012 will be on Sat.,
