Inverness/Lecanto Relay
For Life
Fundraiser Benefits the
American Cancer Society
April 4, 2014 marks the date of
the American Cancer Society's popular
Relay For Life of Inverness/Lecanto. The
event promises to be an exciting evening
of live entertainment, fundraising and re-
membrance.
The "Lights, Camera, Relay!"
themed event will begin at 6:00pm at the
Citrus High School football field on Fri-
day, April 4 and continue for 18 hours
to symbolize the fact that cancer doesn't
sleep. During the event participants will
celebrate the lives of cancer survivors, re-
member friends and loved ones who lost
the battle and fight back against the dis-
ease.
The committee hopes to raise
$130,000 through donations. A variety of
sponsorship opportunities are still avail-
able.
For more information on how
you can participate in this event as part of
a team, sponsor or in-kind donor, contact
Katie Mehl at(352) 344-6501.
