Wilderness Circle Earth Day Gathering
Sunday. April 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM is the ceremony of Earth Day. The Girl
Scouts will be there from all of Levy County. They will plant two trees.
Mackie Sanford of Cherokee descent will lead the prayers in the Circle. There
will be a fire built in the center. Indian blood is not required, but just the Indian heart. Pot
luck follows the Circle prayers and then afternoon music. A presentation of Indian cooking
is planned.
Bring a dish to share and your soft drinks, your instruments - bring a friend. There
is no electric or water but there is a port-a-potty.. For directions call Betty Berger (352)447-

Family Fun Day At VFW
The Inglis VFW Post 8698 is located at 520 Hwy. 40 East,1 mile east of the U.S.

Everyone is invited to come out to support our Troops and our Community while
enjoying our FAMILY FUN DAY on Sunday, April 28, from 12:00-6:00 pm. Games (kids
are very welcome) include Dunk Tank, a Bounce House, B.B.Shots, Horse Shoes, Corn
Hole, Community Jail, Dart Balloons, Face Painting and Ping Pong. There will be a Bake

2nd Annual Nature Coast Challenge
Kayak and fish the waters of the Withlacoochee River and the Gulf in a fun, con-
servation oriented, fishing tournament on Saturday April 27, 2013. Target species are red
fish and sea trout. Guaranteed minimum prizes are $200.00 for longest redfish, $200.00 for
longest sea trout and $200.00 for the Grand Slam. Captain’s bags will include items do-
nated by sponsors and one lucky entrant will win a portable fish finder. Not just for kayaks,
