Inglis Candidate Forum Goes
Remembering the past
Into "Overtime"

Overtime, yes that’s correct this meeting was energized by the candidates. All had
a genuine concern for Inglis and encouraged residents to attend town meetings. However,
for the thirty or so who did attend on Saturday they received heartfelt responses from all
the candidates. Plus the opportunity to get to know them as individuals and to listen to their
positions on town matters.
Candidates for Mayor: James Williams, William Lake,Candidates for Commis-
sioner: Andy White, Bob Webb, David Harding, Sally Price and Tom Brennan
In general all of the candidates have resided in Inglis for some time and are either
retired Bob Web Tom Brennen, William Lake, local business owners, Andy White, James
Williams, Sally Price, employed locally, David Harding.
Question: Your position on taxes: James Williams: Will not raise taxes but we
should annex property to increase the tax base. William Lake: No new taxes/ assessments,
and encouraged people to attend the budget meetings,Andy White: No additions and ques-
tioned the decisions of incumbents to raise fee’s to Cason Acres
Bob Webb: No new taxes but we must find additional sources of revenue. David Harding:
Increase revenue, review budgets and reduce services if needed. Sally Price: No additional
