was anything illegal in the vehicle, such as narcotics. Steven Digiglio said no and gave per-
mission for the deputy to search the vehicle. Digiglio and his wife (a passenger in the car),
Kristen R. DiGiglio, 26, also of 1138 N. Tiger Pt., Lecanto, stepped out of the vehicle for it
to be searched.
Kristen Digiglio's purse contained cannabis and four schedule IV narcotic pills (ac-
etaminophen and propoxyphene tablets). She said the drugs belonged to her, that she smokes
marijuana, and she has no prescription for the pills in her purse, although she uses them. She
said she believes that a relative gave them to her.
Inside the car, deputies located several items that were tied to recent vehicle bur-
glaries and to the burglary of an unoccupied N. Tiger Pt. Lecanto neighbor's residence on
Feb. 24. The report stated that a surveillance video showed Mr. Digiglio attempting to use
one of the credit cards (in another name) at a Publix grocery store. Steven Digiglio denied
breaking into vehicles, but admitted that he'd found debit and credit cards, which he'd used,
multiple times, at various ATM machines. A knapsack containing $3,100 in hundred dollar
bills had been reported as having been taken from a vehicle in The Home Depot (Crystal
River) parking lot. The report stated that Steven Digiglio's wallet had that combination of
money, plus additional money, which he said he'd obtained from the sale of a car.
Kristin Digiglio first said that she had no knowledge of a crime, then said that she
