Two men were arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office on felony charges,
Feb. 10 - grand theft ($300 or more but less than $5,000), possession of burglary tools and
burglary of an unoccupied residence. Their bonds were set at $8,000, each. Joshua Sumner
Briscoe, 18, E. Iona Ln., and Sean Allan Fugere, 21, Edison St., both of Inverness, are ac-
cused of breaking into a Lecanto residence and taking several items of jewelry.
Edwin L. Rolon, 21, Beverly Hills, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's
Office, Feb. 17, charged with felony aggravated battery on a pregnant victim. He was held
without bond. The victim said that Rolon had been drinking heavily and kicked her on her
face with his foot during an argument, which caused her to cry and the tension to decrease.
The following morning, she told deputies, she learned information that she confronted Ro-
lon with, and he pushed her, knocking both she and a young child down. The report stated
that a large amount of bruising was visable around the victim's right eye.
