Environmental Presentation at A.F. Knotts Library
Cynthia Barnett , author of award-winning, Mirage, will present “Blue is the New
Green: Water Sustainability and the Future of Florida” on Saturday, February 27 from 1-3
pm at the A.F. Knotts Library in Yankeetown, 11 56th Street . The Friends of A F Knotts
Public Library, the Inglis/Yankeetown Woman’s Club, Withlacoochee Area Residents and
the Inglis/Yankeetown Lion’s Club are sponsoring the event.
Ms. Barnett will discuss interesting facts from research for her forthcoming
book, Blue is the New Green: An American Water Ethic, to be published by Beacon Press
in 2011.
