The Citrus County Foster Parents organization is hosting its 1st-annual Silent Auction &
Benefit Dinner on Sat. Feb. 23, from 6-9 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church, located at
9896 S. Pleasant Grove Rd., Inverness. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 11 and

Spring Fling Craft Show in Crystal River, Feb. 23
The Citrus County Craft Council will hold its 18th-annual Spring Fling Craft Show, an
inside and outside show to be held rain or shine, on Sat., Feb. 23, from 9am-3pm, at the Crystal
River National Guard Armory located on Venable St., just east of Hwy. 19 (across from Home
Depot and south of the Crystal River Airport). Admission and parking is free. The show will
benefit the Nature World Wildlife Rescue of Citrus County, which provides a rescue, rehabili-
tation and release program for injured and orphaned wild animals and birds, with the goal of
successfully releasing the animal back to the wild. A variety of craft items will be on sale for
reasonable prices. Members of Rescue World will be on hand to answer questions. For addi-
