Harley Augustus Taylor, III, 25, 8340 E. Clearview St., Floral City, was arrested by
the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 29, charged with felony possession of a firearm by
              
a convicted felon. His bond was set at $20,000.The arrest was the result of a traffic stop in
      
Hernando at E. Norvell Bryant Hwy. and N. Florida Ave. due to a vehicle in which he was a
      
passenger having no operational tag light. A check for warrants was made on both the driver

and Taylor. They, and the driver's 15 year-old son were asked to step outside the vehicle
while the vehicle was searched. Taylor had a knife on his person, with a 5" blade, along
   
with a round of ammunition. The search of the vehicle turned up a New England single
shot 0.243-caliber long rifle, nine rounds of 0.243 -caliber ammunition and eight rounds of

0.22-caliber ammunition, which belonged to Taylor, a convicted felon who has not had his
legal rights restored. The driver was issued a written warning for the faulty equipment.

Dale Robert Jensen, 54, 30 S. Fillmore St., Beverly Hills, was arrested by the

Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 30, charged with possession of a controlled substance;
bond $2,000. The arrest came as the result of a traffic stop in Hernando, at E. Norvell Bryant

Hwy. and N. Thatcher Ter., on a vehicle Mr. Jensen was driving, for traveling 55 mph in a

45 mph construction zone. When the deputy continued to question Jensen, as to whether or
not he was in possession of anything illegal, he finally produced a 0.5 mg amount of meth-
amphetamine he said he'd purchased in Inverness for $15.

London Forrest Jett, 19, 6401 N. Oakfield Pt., Dunnellon, was arrested by the

Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 30, charged with reckless driving, possession of drug
