AMVETS Meatloaf dinner fundraiser, Jan. 9
The AMVETS William Crow Post #447, 33 Risher Avenue, Inglis, invites the
public to a Fundraiser Dinner on Saturday, January 9th, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Dinner will
include meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, peas with onions and mushrooms, roll and dessert for
a $7 donation. For to-go orders, please call the post at (352) 447-4473.
Weekly BINGO at the Yankeetown Inglis Woman’s Club
Doors open at 6pm, with BINGO games beginning at 7pm. All proceeds from
BINGO go toward college scholarships for local students. Players are invited to come
early to purchase their BINGO cards and enjoy goodies from the “Thursday Kitchen.”
You’ll also have time to check out what’s new in the Thrift Shop. Bring your friends and
come out for the fun.
It’s a Soup-A-Thon in Yankeetown
With the cold weather we’ve been having, hot soup has probably been on the
menu. Enter the annual Soup-A-Thon with your tasty soup to win a cash prize. First place
wins $50! Reserve your space now to win the title of Best Soup Chef. Cash prizes will be
given for the top three tastiest soups. Come out to taste the delicious soups and cast your
vote for your favorite. The Soup-a-thon will be held at the Yankeetown-Inglis Woman’s

Thrift Shop Set to Re-Open
The Yankeetown-Inglis Woman’s Club Thrift Shop opens again Tuesday, January
