Remembering The Past
Joshua Adam Raynor, 34, 2350 N. Florida Ave., Hernando, was arrested by the
Citrus County Sheriff s Office, Nov. 29, charged with possession of a controlled substance.
His bond was set at $2,000. The report stated that the manager of the Value Inn in Hernando
told a deputy that she had smelled burnt marijuana from room two, where Raynor was stay-
ing. She said she told Raynor she did not allow this in the rooms, and he offered to pay her
to allow him to keep the marijuana in his room, but she told him no. She said she watched
as Raynor took the marijuana and placed it in a paint can in a storage shed on the property.
The manager showed the deputy the paint can; inside, was 43 grams of marijuana.
Brandon Lee Engleking, 33, Homosassa was arrested by the Citrus County Sher-
iff s Office, Nov. 29, charged with aggravated battery ($2,000 bond) and domestic battery
(no bond).
Catherine Nicole Holland, 29, Crystal River, was arrested by the Citrus County
Sheriff s Office, Dec. 1, charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.
Casey Richard Hibbard, 21, 2297 N. Cedarhouse Ter., Crystal River, was arrested
by the Citrus County Sheriff s Office, Dec. 2, charged with disorderly intoxication. His bond
was set at $150. The report stated that a deputy found Hibbard passed-out in the road on SE
5th Ter. (Crystal River) near the intersection with U.S. Hwy. 19. The deputy called a relative
to take Hibbard home, but Hibbard became verbally abusive and uncooperative and was ar-
rested, instead.
Richard Nathan Hawthorne, 37, 555 W. Hwy. 40, Inglis, was arrested by the Levy
County Sheriff s Office, Dec. 9, charged with battery, touch or strike and tampering in felo-
