John Kennedy Piatek, 36, Desota Ave., Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus Coun-
ty Sheriff's Office, Nov. 14, charged with felony DUI, DUI  with property damage (to
another vehicle) and leaving the scene of an accident. The arrest was initiated by a Florida
Highway Patrol Trooper who had located Piatek while checking ino a BOLO (Be On the
LookOut) for his vehicle at the intersection of Pineaire St. and S. Highlands Ave. when he
had stopped him for traveling west in the eastbound lane. When the CCSO deputy arrived,
Piatek was asleep in the driver's seat with the vehicle running. There were damages to
Piatek's vehicle consistent with the damage to the vehicle Piatek is accused of hitting. He
performed poorly on roadside sobriety testing and admitted to drinking alcohol.
Tamy Marie Wright, 34, Inverness, was arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's
Office, Nov. 14, charged with child abuse without causing great bodily harm. Her bond was
set at none.
Two area youths were arrested by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Nov. 15, each
charged with criminal mischief ($1,000 or more) and petit theft ($100 or more, but less than
$300); their bonds were set at $1,500 each.The youths were Justin Allen Bowman, 20, E.
