Beginning Computer Classes - Inglis
Computer Classes will start again on Wednesday October 19, 2011 at 6:00PM in
the Inglis Community Center. Laptops are limited so if you have your own please bring
it. No preregistration required and the classes are at no cost to the participants. Please
just come all are welcome no computer experience required. If you have some knowledge
there will still be skills that will only enhance you knowledge.
Inglis Street Dance
Saturday, October 22, 2011 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Inglis Community Center,
celebrating the 50th year of the “Elvis” movie “Follow That Dream” filmed in our area.
Featuring live music “R STYLE” (Local band) performing old and new music. Free entry,
a small donation of non-perishable items will be accepted. Food and refreshments will be

“75 Years of Local Education” at Yankeetown School, Oct. 29th
On Sat., Oct. 29, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Yankeetown School will cel-
ebrate its 75th anniversary, with tours of the older buildings. Others ideas for the event
include a digital photo collage in the auditorium, a technology exhibit, a tour of the mod-
ern classrooms, lunch in the cafeteria, entertainment, exhibits from 1936-2011 to include
cheerleaders past and present, sports teams, old employees, personal photo albums and
