Citrus Chamber of Commerce
Announces Christmas Parade Schedule
The Chamber of Commerce hosts annual events in Crystal River & Inverness.
Plans for the annual Crystal River & Inverness Christmas parades (respectively)  are in
full swing. The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce will hold the Crystal River parade
on Saturday December 5, 2015 and the Inverness parade on Saturday December 12, 2015.
Both parades will celebrate the theme of "May the Christmas Force be with you. Applica-
tions for floats are available on the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce.
Citizens and businesses are encouraged to enter floats in the following catego-
ries: Commercial, Non Commercial, Religious and Marching Units. The parades are open
to all groups, businesses and residents of Citrus County and surrounding areas. The Crys-
tal River Parade, which has a long tradition of being a nighttime parade, will leave from
Citrus Avenue at 6:00pm. The parade will travel south on US Highway 19 to Fort Island
Trail. Floats are encouraged to use lighting in their décor. The Inverness Parade will travel
through town at high noon. Leaving from Montgomery Avenue the parade will travel south
along Main Street and conclude at Highlands Avenue. Sponsorships for both parades are
