Pet Patrol
Benefit We Care Food Pantry
Joe Dawson, owner of Jewels & Damonds in Homosassa, recently won at a Ferrari
event, not only the ownership of a Ferrari Spider, but also a Ferrari event that be held at his
place of business on Sat., Feb. 9, from 12:00-4:00 p.m. , when between ten to thirty Ferraris
will be on display at the jewelry store. During the event, Jim Anderson’s Corporate Cool
Cats will provide musical entertainment, and food will be available , such as sausage and
peppers, barbecue, chicken, hamburgers and other items.
Dawson donated a $2,000 1-Karat diamond necklace in white gold with an 18-inch
chain to the non-profit charity, We Care Food Pantry in Homosassa, which is selling tickets
for the opportunity to win the necklace at a drawing which will be held during the event.
The fundraiser is called “Have a Heart this Valentine’s Day and Feed a Family.” Tickets are
$3 each, 2 for $5, or 5 for $10. Please call 352-228-4921 for information about purchasing
