Sense® Program Saves 7.5
Million Gallons of Water
Citrus County Utilities (CCU)
partnership with the U.S. Environmen-
tal Protection Agency's (EPA's) Water-
Sense program helped utility custom-
ers save 7.5 million gallons of water
in 2015. WaterSense aims to decrease
indoor and outdoor water use through
water-efficient products and water-sav-
ing practices. CCU's program offers free
WaterSense faucet aerators and shower-
heads to its customers. Customers can
also take advantage of WaterSense toilet
and weather-based irrigation control-
